HTC-AUWB-Matte is our waterborne low VOC/HAP topcoat.  This product when mixed will look like milk in color so don’t be alarmed.  Once this product cures its will Matte out the gelcoat or primer color it’s been sprayed over.  There are several videos demonstrating the application as well as a time lap showing how the products mattes out the surface of a gelcoat and primer.  It can be sprayed with an HVLP gun, preferably a 1.3 to 1.7 tip pending if the customer wants a fine texture or a smooth class A look.  A foam roller will leave a small orange peel texture.  We mils shouldn’t exceed 4 mils per coat.  Can be applied over polyester gelcoats or primers as well as epoxy surfaces.  Surface should be sanded with 220 grit and solvent wiped with Acetone or MEK for best adhesion.  HTC-AUWB-Matte will maintain its matte finish with superior UV protection, no oxidization, graffiti proof, at the same time increasing the abrasion and impact resistance of your finished product.  If you have questions don’t hesitate, email us at HTC@stealthveils.com
